Privacy Policy

Plain-language summary of what we collect, why, and your rights. This policy is linked from signup, onboarding, and the site footer.

What we collect

• Account details (email, authentication credentials).
• CV content, profile data, personalization, and portal configuration you create or upload.
• Job URLs and descriptions you submit for evaluation.
• Generated reports, tailored CVs, and PDFs.
• Operational usage logs (job runs, timestamps, IP for rate limiting).

Why we process it

To generate onboarding starter files, scan job portals, run evaluations, produce reports and PDFs, and maintain your isolated workspace. We process only what is needed to provide these features.

AI processing

Career data you provide for the initial onboarding generation — and any AI action you explicitly request — may be sent to NVIDIA / DeepSeek for processing. We send only the text needed to fulfill your request. The service's AI API key belongs to us and is never shared with users.

Storage

Your workspace files are stored server-side in a private, per-user location and retained while your account is active, until you delete them or they are removed under the retention rules below.

Secrets

The service API keys are never shared with or exposed to users.

Your exports

You can download your entire workspace as a ZIP at any time from Account Settings.

Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Account Settings. Deletion is irreversible.

Retention

• Workspace files: retained while your account is active.
• Backup snapshots: retained for 30 days.
• Job logs: retained for 30 days.
• On account deletion: primary data purged immediately or within 24 hours; backups purged within 30 days unless legally required otherwise.

Security

Data is separated per user and access-controlled. Authentication is required for every workspace action, and authorization is enforced on every file and job request. We log operational metadata, not full CV contents, except where explicitly needed for debugging and consented to.
